SAO PAULO (Reuters)-Half of the the Arabica coffee crop in Brazil is nearly cultivated, says the Center for Advanced studies in Applied Economics at the University of São Paulo (Cepea/Esalq/USP) on Tuesday.
According to Cepea, harvest percentages among regions are very similar, with Paulista regions of Mogiana and Heron, with approximately 40% of the volume harvested, figured to be the latest.
With respect to Sul de Minas, Cerrado and Zona da Mata of Minas
Gerais, the total collected was between 45% and 60% as of last
week.
